DK nautical charts now as an app
Navigating with a tablet is becoming increasingly popular. Now the Delius Klasing sports boat charts are also available for iPad & Co
Sailors who use analogue charts from DK can now also use them with Apple or Android tablets. The Bielefeld-based publisher has had the "Yacht Navigator" on the market for several months, which turns your own tablet into a fully-fledged plotter. The programme is available either as a free bundle with the paper nautical charts or only digitally, and even with a significant price advantage over the paper version. Versions for smartphones have also been announced for the end of the year.
